On a reasonable belief, the cotton printed sarees were attempted for illegal exportation to Bangladesh in violation of Section 3(1) & 3(2) of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with Section 11 of the Customs Act, 1962 which rendered the same liable to confiscation under Section 113(b) and 113(d) of the Customs Act, 1962. The Customs Officials of Lalgola on receipt of such goods from the BSF personnel, seized the goods under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962. On 4-12-2002, Md.
