Export of natural honey is permitted as Free but conditioned so that exported honey must be wholly obtained Indian-origin honey and no blending with honey originating from any other country is allowed; these restrictions, previously applicable to the United States, are extended to apply to the European Union as well.

Export prohibition on milk powders and casein products: transitional arrangements under the foreign trade policy will not apply.
The amendment excludes milk powders (including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products from any transitional arrangements under the foreign trade policy paragraph; consequently, transitional relief shall not apply to exports of those dairy and casein products which are prohibited under the amended export notification.

Prohibition on export of non-basmati rice: exemption allows concessional CIF-LO shipments to Bangladesh, subject to notification conditions.
The prohibition on export of non-basmati rice is amended to exempt a specified allocation for export to Bangladesh by replacing "prevalent economic cost" with "concessional cost" and changing the delivery basis from "CIF" to "CIF-LO", while all other terms of the earlier notifications remain in force.

Export restriction on specific onion varieties: Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram permitted under licence subject to minimum export price.
Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions are reclassified from Prohibited to Restricted for export; their export is permitted only under licence and subject to a Minimum Export Price, while the prohibition on other onion varieties continues. The ITC(HS) Schedule 2 Table B entry is amended to create separate tariff items reflecting these categories, effective immediately under the Foreign Trade Policy.

Export exemption for cotton yarn manufactured exclusively from imported raw cotton permitted upon Central Excise certification and customs verification.
Manufacturers who produce and export cotton yarn exclusively from imported raw cotton are exempt from the export restriction, provided they obtain a certificate from the jurisdictional Central Excise Authority confirming exclusive manufacture from imported raw cotton; customs shall permit export only after verifying that such certificate has been issued by the competent Central Excise Authority.

Duty Credit Scrip eligibility narrowed to services in Appendix 41 and tied to current year foreign exchange thresholds.
Amendments to SFIS limit eligible services to those in Appendix 41 of HBPv1 and restrict eligibility to free foreign exchange earned in the current financial year. Indian service providers must meet prescribed minimum free foreign exchange thresholds, with a lower threshold for individuals. Only services listed in Appendix 41 qualify for Duty Credit Scrips, and eligible providers receive a Duty Credit Scrip equal to a fixed proportion of current-year free foreign exchange earnings.

Prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China extended under Foreign Trade Policy powers, maintaining ban on dairy-containing foods.
The Central Government, under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 and paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, has extended the prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China, explicitly covering chocolates, chocolate products, candies, confectionery and food preparations with milk or milk solids, for one year from 24 December 2010 and until further orders as notified by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
