Amendment to a central Government notification under the Special Economic Zones Act substitutes Sl. No. 6 of S.O.1047(E) dated 12.03.2020 to include Sh. Amrit Lal Manwani, Chairman & Managing Director, M/s Sahasra Electronic Solutions Ltd. (unit-2) as a member of the NSEZ Authority, effected by S.O. 1161(E) dated 15-03-2022 with file reference F. No. A.43/1/2021-SEZ.

De-notification of Special Economic Zone rescinded under SEZ rules following state no objection and developer proposal.
M/s. Ansal Colours Engineering SEZ Limited proposed de-notification of the entire land parcel of its sector-specific SEZ in Sonepat; the State issued a No Objection Certificate subject to land-use and infrastructure conditions, and the Development Commissioner recommended de-notification. The Central Government, invoking its rescission power under the Special Economic Zone rules, rescinded the prior notification with savings for prior acts or omissions.

De-notification of SEZ land restores parcels for industrial infrastructure allocation to the Domestic Tariff Area under SEZ rules.
Central Government, invoking powers under the Special Economic Zones statute and accompanying rules, de-notifies specified surveyed land within the Baikampady SEZ following State concurrence and a recommendation from the Development Commissioner; the de-notified parcels are listed by survey number and are to be used for industrial infrastructure allotment to units in the Domestic Tariff Area, and the notification records the resultant SEZ extent and administrative file reference.
