of <h1>Export Ban on Certain Dairy Products Until Sept 30, 2007; Exceptions for Exports to Neighboring Countries</h1> The notification issued by the Central Government amends Chapter 4, Table B, Schedule 2 of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import items, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Effective immediately, the export of certain dairy products, including milk and cream in various forms, is prohibited until September 30, 2007. Exemptions are granted for specific exports to Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, subject to certain conditions. Transitional arrangements under the policy do not apply to these items, and existing export obligations will be reviewed individually. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
