India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Trimethoxy Benzaldehyde to Protect Domestic Industry; 237 Rupees per Kg Levied
The Central Government, exercising its authority under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, has imposed an anti-dumping duty on Trimethoxy Benzaldehyde (3, 4, 5) imported from the People's Republic of China. Based on the findings by the designated authority published on August 7, 1995, it was determined that this chemical, classified under Chapter 29, is being dumped in India. Consequently, an additional duty of 237 rupees per kilogram will be levied on these imports to counteract the dumping effect and protect domestic industries.
