of <h1>Govt Extends Compliance Deadlines to Sept 30, 2020, for Taxation Laws; Excludes Some Customs Act Provisions.</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification under 'The Taxation And Other Laws (Relaxation Of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020' to extend the due dates for compliance with the Central Excise Act, Customs Act, Customs Tariff Act, and Finance Act, 1994. The compliance deadlines originally falling between March 20, 2020, and September 29, 2020, are now extended to September 30, 2020. This extension applies to specific sections of the mentioned acts, excluding certain provisions of the Customs Act. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
