      Anti-dumping duty on imports of Partially Oriented Yarn originating in, or exported from, the People’s Republic of China.
      Summary: Imposition of anti-dumping duty is continued on Partially Oriented Yarn (Heading 5402) originating in, or exported from, the People's Republic of China; the notification fixes the duty amount per metric tonne in US dollars for goods produced and/or exported from the subject country. The duty is levied for five years from publication, payable in Indian currency, with conversion based on the notified rate of exchange determined as of the bill of entry date.

      Corrigendum to, Office Order dt. 06-05-2011, regarding Common Adjudicating Authority.
      Summary: A corrigendum exercising powers under Notification No. 15/2002-Customs (N.T.) under section 4(1) of the Customs Act substitutes the designation in the earlier office order: replacing the Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Chennai with the Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax, Coimbatore as the proper adjudicating authority, and circulates the amendment to relevant departmental offices for information and action.

      Summary: The Central Board assigns officer ranks as proper officers under section 2(34) of the Customs Act, 1962, mapping specified statutory powers and duties to Commissioners, Additional/Joint Commissioners, Deputy/Assistant Commissioners, DRI/CEI officers, Superintendents/Appraisers, Intelligence Officers, Inspectors and related senior directors, with section by section delegations and subsequent amendments set out in the notification; the instrument was later superseded by a later notification.

      Summary: Exim Bank's Line of Credit finances eligible goods, machinery, equipment and consultancy services for the Kabu Hydro Electric Project with at least 75 per cent of contract value supplied from India and up to 25 per cent (excluding consultancy) procured abroad; disbursement windows differ for project and supply contracts. Shipments must be declared on GR/SDF Forms. No agency commission is payable under the LOC, but exporters may remit commission from their own resources or Exchange Earners' Foreign Currency Accounts in free foreign exchange after full realisation and subject to AD Category-I bank compliance with prevailing rules.

      Clarification regarding withdrawal of provision of revalidation of RCs by RAs for export of cotton and cotton yarn.
      Summary: The revalidation provision for Registration Certificates issued for export of cotton and cotton yarn is withdrawn as stated in Paragraph 3 of Public Notice No. 102; accordingly Regional Authorities shall not grant revalidation of RCs for cotton or cotton yarn exports.
