      Prevention of Money-laundering (Restoration of Confiscated Property) Amendment Rules, 2019
      Summary: The rules allow the Special Court, after framing charges, to publish notice inviting claimants with legitimate interest to seek restoration of attached, seized or frozen property; claimants must apply within a specified period subject to limited extension. If property is insufficient to cover claimant losses, the Court may direct auction and pro rata disbursement of proceeds, and may grant custody to a claimant upon executing a bond, provided the owner or legal representatives are given an opportunity to be heard.
