      Seeks to further amend notification No. 2/2016-Customs (ADD) dated 28th Jan, 2016 to extend the levy of Anti-Dumping duty on Melamine originating in or exported from China PR, up to and inclusive of 28th Feb, 2021
      Summary: The Central Government amended the principal notification to provide that the anti-dumping duty on imports of melamine originating in or exported from China PR shall remain in force up to and inclusive of 28th February, 2021, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier, following a statutory review request and exercise of powers under the Customs Tariff Act and applicable customs rules.

      Seeks to extend the due date for filing FORM GSTR-4 for financial year 2019-2020 to 31.10.2020
      Summary: Extension of due date for filing Form GSTR-4 for the financial year 2019-2020 by substituting the earlier prescribed deadline with a later deadline under the Assam state GST notification; the amendment is issued under state GST statutory power and is deemed to have come into force retrospectively from the original deadline, thereby rendering the substituted deadline operative for compliance purposes.

      74/2020- State Tax - dated - 4-1-2021 - Delhi SGST
      Prescribe the due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-1 for the quarters October, 2020 to December, 2020 and January, 2021 to March, 2021 for registered persons having aggregate turnover of up to 1.5 crore rupees in the preceding financial year or the current financial year
      Summary: Notification under section 148 prescribes that registered persons with aggregate turnover up to 1.5 crore rupees shall follow a special procedure to furnish outward supply details in FORM GSTR-1 quarterly: for October-December 2020 and January-March 2021 by the respective dates specified in the notification. Time limits for furnishing details or return under section 38(2) for October 2020-March 2021 will be notified later. The notification is effective from 15 October 2020.

      57/2020- State Tax - dated - 4-1-2021 - Delhi SGST
      Amendment in Notification No. 76/2018– State Tax, dated the 3rd September, 2019
      Summary: For specified classes of registered persons who furnish prescribed returns by the extended filing cut-off, the total late fee payable shall be waived to the extent it exceeds two hundred and fifty rupees and shall be fully waived where the state tax payable in the return is nil; the same waiver framework also applies to taxpayers above a specified aggregate turnover who file FORM GSTR-3B for certain months by the extended cut-off. The notification is retrospective to a specified earlier date.

      36/2019- State Tax - dated - 4-1-2021 - Delhi SGST
      Seeks to amendment in Notification No. 22/2019- State Tax, dated the 20th August, 2020
      Summary: Amendment substitutes the specified reference date in a State Tax notification with a later reference date, issued under statutory power, and declares that the notification shall have effect from the originally stated commencement date, thereby giving the substitution retrospective effect.

      Class of persons under proviso to section 39(1) - Option to furnish a return for every quarter
      Summary: Notification designates registered persons below a turnover threshold who opted under the relevant rule to furnish quarterly returns and pay tax monthly, subject to conditions: the preceding month's return must be filed when opting; the option remains in force unless revised; exceeding the turnover threshold during a quarter ends eligibility from the first month of the next quarter. The notification sets out deemed default options based on prior filing frequency and permits electronic amendment of the selection within a specified portal period. The notification has the stated effective date.

      Special procedure for making payment of 35% as tax liability in first two month - in case of registered persons who have opted to furnish a return for every quarter or part thereof
      Summary: Notification allows quarterly filers to discharge interim tax in the first and/or second month of a quarter by depositing into the electronic cash ledger an amount equal to thirty five per cent of the tax liability from the preceding quarter's return (or the last month of the immediately preceding quarter for monthly filers), provided the person has furnished the return for a complete preceding tax period; no deposit is required where electronic cash or credit ledger balances are adequate or liability is nil.

      Seeks to bring into force section 7 Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2020
      Summary: The State Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2020, appoints the 10th day of November, 2020 as the date on which the provisions of section 7 of the said Act shall come into force by notification dated 30th December 2020.
