Extraterrestrial reach and personal jurisdiction challenges frame dismissal bid in offshore securities fraud proceedings.
US securities fraud proceedings concerning an offshore bond offering by an Indian renewable energy company were met with a request for dismissal on grounds of lack of personal jurisdiction and impermissible extraterritorial application of US law.
