Commissionerate response obligations require one-month remedial reports and follow-up review after quality assurance audits.

Audit Commissionerates must send a written response to the Zonal ADG with a copy to the Director General (Audit) within one month of receiving a QAR report, stating remedial actions initiated; subsequent QAR teams will review the status of those remedial actions. If an Audit Commissionerate obtains a very poor grading, the Zonal Chief Commissioner must, within one month, report actions taken to rectify deficiencies to the Pr. DG/DG at Headquarters with a copy to the Zonal ADG.
