Bonded trucking facility authorises road movement of imported cargo between airports, ACCs, CFSs and ICDs under transshipment permits issued by Customs; custodians appointed by the Commissioner must provide a running bond with bank guarantee, ensure secure trucks and transshipment warehouses with Customs supervision and bottle seals, present transshipment applications with airway bills, and produce endorsed proof of delivery at destination for register closure, with custodians liable for shortage, pilferage and associated costs.
