A Resultant fund is a fund formed in India as a trust, company or LLP that is located in an International Financial Services Centre and is authorised and regulated: initially by registration as a Category I/II/III Alternative Investment Fund under SEBI regulations or under the IFSCA Fund Management Regulations, and subsequently to include funds authorised as Category I/II/III AIFs or as retail schemes or Exchange Traded Funds while regulated under the same SEBI or IFSCA regimes.
