Interest on refunds: appeal admission payments accrue statutory interest from payment until refund at the specified rate.

The President may delegate financial and administrative powers over the Appellate Tribunal to Members or officers of National and Regional Benches provided the delegate acts under the President's direction, control and supervision. Refunds of amounts paid for admission of appeals ordered by the Appellate Authority or Appellate Tribunal bear interest from the date of payment until refund at the rate specified under the refund-interest provision, which contemplates interest where refunds are delayed beyond sixty days.
