Crew baggage rules apply to members engaged on a foreign-going conveyance for importation of their baggage at final pay off upon termination of engagement. Separately, crew not falling under that provision may bring specified personal or family gift items such as chocolates, cheese and cosmetics for personal use, subject to a monetary ceiling of one thousand and five hundred rupees.
