Appeal GSTAT Filing by Advocate

Taxpayer dashboard visibility follows GSTIN-linked representative filing when a matching portal account exists, enabling access to appeal-status information.
GSTIN-linked filing allows a GSTAT appeal lodged by an advocate or authorised representative through separate credentials to remain accessible to the taxpayer. Dashboard visibility requires the taxpayer to have a portal account created with the same GSTIN. Under that login, the taxpayer can view appeal particulars, proceeding filings, and case-status information; access depends on the GSTIN linkage and matching taxpayer account rather than the login used to submit the appeal. (AI Summary)

If an advocate/authorised representative files an appeal before GSTAT using the advocate's own login on behalf of a taxpayer, will the appeal be visible in the taxpayer's GSTAT dashboard/login as well?

1.

The appeal will be visible in the taxpayer's GSTAT dashboard because the filing is linked directly to the taxpayer's GSTIN. As long as the taxpayer has created an account on the GSTAT portal using that GSTIN, he can view the appeal details, filings, and case status under his login.
