ST-3 Return status uploaded since 06.04.13

Dear Sir,

We have filed ST-3 return for the period July’12 to Sep’12 (ST-3 return Excel utility updated date 28.03.2013) which downloaded from www.aces.gov.in on 4^th April 2013.

We have filed the same on 6^th April 2013 but View XML Status of the same is Uploaded till 12^th April 2013 (attached Status of View XML Status as on 12^th April 2013 for your reference)

Last date of ST-3 return filing is 15^th April 2013 but we don’t received any filed or reject status till dated & also (ST-3 return Excel utility updated date 09.04.2013 is also available on www.aces.gov.in)

My qurey is that :

 1-      Last date of return filling is 15^th April 2013 but we don’t received any status.

2-      New updated (ST-3 Return Excel utility updated date 09.04.2013) is available on www.aces.gov.in

3-      Can I file a ST-3 return with new Excel utility which is updated in aces on 09^th April 2013?

 Please guide.

Please discuss it with the concerned Service Tax authority and submit a detailed letter in this regard to them to avoid any futuristic unwarranted situations.

We are facing the same problem and our ST-3 return also shows upload status. We have approached our jurisdictional Excise Division (computer section). In the matter, we have been informed  that most of the assessees are facing same problem and their ST-3 Returns also shows upload status in ACES system. We have sent mail to ACES helpline, however we have not received any reply. However, the CBEC extended the last date of e-filing of the new Service Tax Return (ST-3) for the period July-September 2012, from 15th April to 30th April, 2013.
