Items on which vat tax is 5% and 4% with cess 5% in Haryana

S.C. WADHWA

Dear Sir,

Pls provide us list of items having 5% and 4% Vat tax with cess 5% in haryana at present.

Regards,

WADHWA

VAT classifications in Haryana: Schedule C items attract VAT with additional cess; other reduced rates derive from CST law. Goods listed in Schedule C of the HVAT Act, 2003 are subject to the lower VAT rate in Haryana and also attract the specified cess; the reduced rate applicable to certain goods in inter state trade is provided under the CST Act provisions identifying goods of special importance in interstate commerce. Please check the Schedule C under HVAT Act, 2003 for the items having 5% rate of tax and for 4% kindly check the Section 14 of the CST Act,1956 (Certain goods to be of special importance in intere-state trade or commerce.)  Cess 5% is also applicable on Schedule C items.
