Export compliance: follow customs procedures, RBI foreign exchange rules, correct documentation, LCs and Incoterms for lawful exports.
Export sales require compliance with customs and export formalities as set out in the CBEC Manual Chapters 7 and 8, supported by central bank master circulars and foreign exchange law; practitioners must maintain proper documentation, use appropriate payment instruments such as letters of credit, apply Incoterms to allocate risk and follow place of supply and import-export manuals for procedural and reporting obligations.
