Deduction of gratuity and dress allowance from CTC depends on the terms of employment and contractual agreement.
Whether gratuity and dress allowance may be deducted from an employee's Cost to Company (CTC) depends on the express terms of employment; the permissibility of such deductions is governed by the contractual terms between employer and employee. (AI Summary)
