If the circumstances under which affidavit was sworn has changed subsequently and the statement made in affidavit no more holds good due to the change circumstances, i feel one can execute a fresh affidavit cancelling the earlier .  However, be careful in court matters &  consult your lawyer before withdrawing affidavit.
