Vat or sales tax applicability on selling imported textiles

Guest
dear sir, i would like to know whether there is any sales tax or central sales tax or vat on selling imported textiles to our customers in delhi, gurgaon (haryana) and noida(uttar pradesh).the goods in question are allways imported by paying the prescribed customs duty.
Imported Textiles Sold Locally Subject to State Sales Tax; Customs Duty Payment Does Not Exempt from Domestic Tax Obligations. A participant inquired about the applicability of sales tax, central sales tax, or VAT on imported textiles sold in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida, noting that customs duty has been paid on these goods. The response clarified that once goods are imported into India, they are treated as domestic goods, and the relevant statutory provisions for domestic goods apply. Therefore, it is necessary to check the sales tax applicability and rates according to the laws of the respective states where the goods are sold. (AI Summary)
