HI

I need to briefly about tds deduction, deposit and filings

TDS compliance requires timely deposit and quarterly return filing, with a special extended deposit deadline for March non-salary deductions. TDS obligations require application of prevailing TDS rates, deposit of amounts withheld by the seventh day of the month following deduction, and filing of quarterly TDS returns within fifteen days of the month after each quarter; TDS deducted in March (other than on salary) is deposited by April 30.
