Supply with delivery challan and ewaybill

Vinay Gupta

Dear sir,

We have to supply the goods to 3rd party on delivery challan in other state i.e tamil nadu with ewaybill and invoices to be raised in karnatka only once 3rd party will confirm the correctness of the material.

Further, we want to know that whether we can supply the material through delivery challan and ewaybill , as billing is to raised later and we are under e invoice, or shall we generate the e invoice for the same

Is e-Invoice Required Immediately for Goods Sent on Approval? Refer to Circular No. 10/10/2017-GST. A query was raised regarding the supply of goods to a third party in Tamil Nadu using a delivery challan and ewaybill, with invoices to be issued in Karnataka after confirmation of material correctness. The question was whether an e-invoice should be generated immediately or later. One response clarified that if it is a sale on approval, goods can be delivered using a delivery challan, with invoices raised later, provided proper documentation is maintained. Another response suggested referring to Circular No. 10/10/2017-GST for guidance on sales on approval situations. (AI Summary)
