we forget to declare igst paid export in shipping bill

Dhaval Patel

hello,

we are exporters from gujarat and we exported peanut with payment of igst but we forget to igst amout in shipping bill. so now i can claim igst refund.

Exporter Can Claim IGST Refund on Peanuts by Rectifying Shipping Bill and Approaching Customs with Required Documents An exporter from Gujarat raised a query about forgetting to declare IGST paid on exported peanuts in the shipping bill and inquired about claiming an IGST refund. A response indicated that a refund is possible by rectifying the shipping bill. Since online rectification is not feasible, the exporter should approach Customs Authorities with documentary evidence, including the return, IGST particulars, tax invoice, and shipping bill copies. Additionally, they must file a concordance report with Customs, following procedures outlined in various Customs circulars, including Board's Circular No. 5/18-Customs and its amendments.
