Invoice for export

Satyen Rohit

Hello Sir,

I am an individual exporter and exporting small parcel by air for first time. My buyer wants the invoice in us dollars, so how can I make an gst invoice in us dollars ? Please show me a format or sample if possible.

Thank You.

Exporters Debate on GST Invoice in USD for Air Parcel: Use RBI Rate for Currency Conversion An individual exporter inquired about issuing a GST invoice in US dollars for a small air parcel export. A respondent suggested converting Indian Rupees to US Dollars using the exchange rate to prepare a commercial invoice. Another participant agreed with this approach, while a third advised using the latest forex rates and slightly adjusting them to avoid potential losses during bank conversion. The discussion concluded with a confirmation that the Reserve Bank of India's rate could be considered for the conversion. (AI Summary)

A regular commercial invoice in USD may be prepared converting the INR into USD by using exchange rate.

Kindly use latest forex rates for exports for conversion, you may keep little bit down so that you don't face any loss when bank provide you after conversion.
