The legal metrology act 2009 section 19 states that :

Sec. 19 provides that no person shall import any weight or measure unless he is registered with the director in such manner and on payment of such fees, as may be prescribed.

I want to import 'load cell'. Does the 'Load cell' is weight or measure ?

Do I need to register under under section 19 for import of 'load cells' ?

Please Guide on above issue.
