Can any one provide me the details of Excise duty rate effective date from 2011 to 31.03.2017. Since rate of Excise duty has been frequent changed for last six years. i will be happy if the effective date is provided for Excise duty rate change.

As per my Knowledge The excise duty rate changed as under.

01.03.2011 10% +2% Edu.Cess + 1% H.E. Cess.

17.03.2012 12% +2% Edu cess +1% H.E. Cess.

01.03.2015 12.5%
