EXPORT TO BHUTAN PROCEDURE

Exports to Bhutan under bond require APEDA registration, aflatoxin certification and entitlement to MEIS benefits.
Exports of excisable food products to Bhutan must follow central excise bonded export procedures; HS 20081990 is exportable as free subject to APEDA registration and submission of APEDA-recognized laboratory aflatoxin certificates. Bhutanese phytosanitary, food-safety and pesticide rules and permits apply. Exporters may claim MEIS benefits for Bhutan and duty-drawback entitlements depending on whether CENVAT was availed; other procedural documents and certifications must be obtained before shipment. (AI Summary)

Dear Expert,

We are going to export our Excisable food products to BHUTAN.
My query is whether export to BHUTAN comes under free trade and clearances are to be
made after paying excise duty or under bond ect.. Please give your expert opinion immediately.
REGARDS,
WADHWA
