can we get BRO or Delivery order with original airway bill.

Dear Sir,

we are imported shipments by air. we are facing problem that every time air consignment arrived before Original documents.

If we have opened an L/c to import goods and airway bill is consigned to Bank. Please suggest how we can obtain delivery order or BRO without presenting original airway bill.

someone told me that we can get delivery order by submitting letter of indent signed by bank

AWB is non negotiable document completely different from B/L.

Original copy of AWB is not mandatory to get your cargo cleared from Air ports, we can get delivery order by submitting letter of indent signed by bank & get scan copy of AWB & Show it to your airline, pay applicable import duty & get your cargo cleared.
