Transit pass required for Tamil Nadu

Hello,

We are planning to ship material to Tamil Nadu from Pune, Maharashatra. As per our knowledge any good moving to Tamil nadu no any transit pass is required and only TIN number is sufficient.

We just wanted know more clarity on this requirement, it would be really helpful if some one guide on this.
