Issue regarding Advance Authorisation

DINESH DAVE

Hi,

DGFT raise query that Item Description does not match with Advance Authorisation.

Description mentioned in BOE : (74072120) Brass Rods

Description as per Authorisation : (74072120) Brass Extruded Solid Rods

How i can resolve this issue.

Discrepancy in Item Description: 'Brass Rods' vs. 'Brass Extruded Solid Rods' on Export Documents; Resolution Suggested A query was raised regarding a discrepancy in the item description between a Bill of Export (BOE) and an Advance Authorisation, specifically for brass rods. The BOE described the items as 'Brass Rods,' while the authorisation noted them as 'Brass Extruded Solid Rods.' Suggestions to resolve this issue included presenting a purchase invoice from the exporter, as the tariff code matches, and obtaining a consumption certificate from the central excise office or a chartered engineer's certificate to confirm the materials are identical. The goods were supplied to a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). (AI Summary)
