Issue regarding Advance Authorisation

Hi,

DGFT raise query that Item Description does not match with Advance Authorisation.

Description mentioned in BOE : (74072120) Brass Rods

Description as per Authorisation : (74072120) Brass Extruded Solid Rods

How i can resolve this issue.

if your query related to import and item description is not match kindly refer BOE your advance authorisation appear in the BOE.if custom was cleared your goods than tehcnically your goods is same what you import.

Tariff code is same only description is not tally with authorisation. please show authority your purchase invoice which raised by your exporter, because country wise HS code is same in majority cases but description is Slightly differ. in addition please submitted consumption certificate issued by central excise office or CA.

In addition you can submit a chartered engineers certificate certifying that the description mentioned in BOE and Advance authorisation are same material.

We have supplied goods to SEZ.
