Dear Sir

A Pvt Ltd company having its registered office at Mumbai, maharashtra and branch at Jaipur Rajasthan.

They had taken Sales Tax Registration from in Jaipur where they had branch office for trading purpose, Now they want to take Import Export Code under merchant export category from JT DGFT, Jaipur wherein its branch office fall.

Are they require to file application where company is registered or they can also file application to JT DGFT, Jaipur where they had branch office.

Please clarify.

please adding the name of your branch office in your current IEC number. need not take new IEC number for your branch office
