One time factory stuffing permission - JNPT Port - Reg

We are manufacturer Exporter. We have earlier obtained one time stuffing permission for Export our finished goods in container through JNPT Port under physical supervision in factory by Central Excise officers. Consequent to transfer of promoter`s equity, the name of our earlier company has been changed. Accordingly, we have amended our PAN and Excise Registration.

Kindly let us know whether we have submit simple letter to JNPT Port with a copy of one time permission received by us in the name of earlier company to change in the name or we have to submit a fresh application alongwith all relevant documents and the prescribed format to the Customs authority at JNPT port to obtain one time stuffing permission in the name of new company.

Please guide us in the matter.

Since there is a change in the administration as intimated by Shri Kishan you have to file fresh application along with all relevant documents.

As stated our friends, you have to necessarily apply for a fresh permission since the constitution of the company was changed. However, to get the permission faster, better, inform about the change of name from the earlier company to which a similar permission was granted and the fresh request is due to change of the company. This may certainly help in according the permission faster considering the earlier permission without checking various parameters that are generally being followed by the Department.
