for SEZ clearances we make ARE1. out of 4 copies of ARE1 how many to send to customer and how many copies to send our Excise Range office?

SEZ clearance procedure requires CT-3 and timely submission of ARE-1 copies to Range Superintendent and range.
SEZ must furnish CT-3 to the factory and consignments are dispatched under ARE-1. The consignor shall submit the 3rd and 4th copies of ARE 1 to the Range Superintendent within 24 hours of dispatch, and where clearance is under bond or LUT the factory must furnish the original and duplicate ARE 1, sealed and signed by the SEZ officer, to the range within 45 days. Remaining distribution and export formalities follow the applicable excise notification and the factory must prepare any further ARE 1 copies required. (AI Summary)
