Cenvat credit on cap goods before registration

We have established a Pvt Ltd company 4 year ago. but activities started from last 1 year. we have imported some machines from foreign contries on which we have paid custom duty and excisee duty

after one year we are going to take excise registration. Can we avail CENVAT on those machineries, onwhich we have paid already Excise duty.?
