Rejection of excise return

S.C. WADHWA

Dear Expert,

Our ER1 filed on line was rejected with remarks'Some Technical error in your server so our ER1 rejected' This massage received. Later on when we contacted with excise deptt and came to know that on 10.3.15 from 3 P.M there server was got out of order. Now my query is whether we upload once again our ER1 and the same will be treated in time or not. Please advise.

Regards,

WADHWA

User's ER1 Excise Return Rejected Due to Server Error; Experts Suggest Written Explanation and Registered Post Submission A user reported that their online ER1 excise return was rejected due to a technical error on the server, which was down on March 10, 2015. They inquired whether re-uploading the return would be considered timely. An expert suggested contacting the range superintendent with a written explanation of the issue. Another expert advised sending a hard copy of the return by registered post to demonstrate timely submission. (AI Summary)
