Manufacturer bond for merchant exporters permits export subject to prescribed excise manual procedure and compliance required.
Merchant exporters are permitted to export goods under a manufacturer bond, and the procedure and conditions to be followed are set out in para 5.4 of Chapter 7 of the Central Board of Excise and Customs excise manual; the exporter must operate under that bond regime and comply with the manual's prescribed requirements for bond execution, documentation and record-keeping. (AI Summary)
Dear Sir, Can a merchant exporter export goods under manufacturer bond, if yes please kindly describe the procedure.thanks and regards
