PAN MIGRATION

I had given two applications to transfer two PAN, income tax files from Ratnagiri Jurisdiction to Mumbai Jurisdiction. What is the exact procedure to migrate PAN as more than 6 months over yet I Tax files not transferred as Assessee staying in Mumbai.

There is no any action from Income tax Department.

Pl let me know what action I have to do?

Recently I got transferred one file from ahamadabad to Nagpur jurisdiction just by sending plain letter to ahamadabad ITO requesting him to do so. Within sixteen days it was done..even without insisting anyone...There is no prescribed procedure which is requires to be followed, as I got this task completed with simple communication only...
