resign without serve notice period

Guest

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your attention on that due to my personal ground I have given resign from my job. let me know which type of legal step comapny can take as i have not serve them notice period of 30 days.

Notice period breaches can lead to salary adjustment; employees on stipend should expect limited employer action. Resignation without serving the contractual notice period most commonly results in an adjustment of salary or temporary withholding of dues to cover the unserved notice; employers rarely initiate litigation, and employees on a stipend should adopt a low-key approach, await employer action, and later request any withheld payments. Storms such as these get just pass without thunder. Remember : they also do not wish to be seen as a vindictive employer. Their reputation is also at stake. But this is all generalization - unless you left because of mutual recrimination. Let us wait for the move from them, then you can plan strategy. Invariably, nothing happens. At worst, they might adjust your one month's salary against the notice period. Maintain a low profile. Don't talk out of turn and offend. Just wait and watch. Once this blows over, send a polite request to them asking for your withheld dues, if any. Get down to work and let God take care.
