Export goods from other manufacturer

Merchant exporter can export procured goods either after duty payment with rebate or by using CT-1 duty suspension.
As a merchant exporter, a manufacturer may buy goods made by another manufacturer and export them under its own invoice and ARE-1 while keeping the supplier confidential. Two primary methods exist: purchase on payment of excise duty and later claim rebate on export, or procure under the CT-1 duty suspension so no excise is paid at procurement. Export documentation must be prepared in the exporter's name and relevant excise procedures followed. (AI Summary)

Dear Experts

As manufacturer can we export goods which is we are not manufacturing but other manufacturer  making that goods we want buy and to export out of country. Invoice , Packaging, ARE-1 we will prepare because we don't want disclose out client name.  List If possible than what's procedure or any  rule applicable as per Excise Rule.

Goods can be exported outside India in the capacity of Merchant Exporter. These can be procured in any of the following manner

1. Purchase the goods by paying appropriate excise duty to manufacturer and subsequently claim the rebate of duty paid on goods exported outside India.

2. Procure the goods under CT-1 form without paying excise duty and export outside India.
