Rented out of portion of Registered premises

Respected Sir,

 

We are manufacturer and our factory premises is registered with Excise Department. Now, we wish to rent out some of portion of the said premises to other.

Please advise, can we rent out some portion . If, yes please let me know the procedure or formalities.

While taken central excise registration you may have declared the entire premises for the purpose of central excise. Now if you have divided the premises into two units / buildings independent to each other, you may get the registration certificate amended to include only spefied area and then to rent out the other part.
