EN 26/2012

Shyam .

Hi

If we are availing exemption 26/2012, and we are taking some %(like 60) portion as taxable portion. then What value will be consider for SSP exemption 60 % or 100% ?

Threshold calculation: compute service tax threshold on gross value before applying any abatement to taxable value. The threshold for service tax purposes is computed on the gross value of supplies before applying any abatement; abatement reducing taxable value does not affect the base used to calculate the threshold. Thereshold limit under Notification no..33/2012-ST. is calculated before giving the effect to abatement prescribed under Notification no 26/2012 ie.e on gross amount.
