re-credit of Rs 8 L 4% SAD amount in DEPB Scrips

Pradeep Jain

 Dear Sir,

With reference to Public Notice No.6(RE2013)/2009-2014 New Delhi dated 18th April' 2013. Consolidated certificate( Credit note) for re-credit of 4% SAD amount can be issue by 30.06.13.

In our case we had filed SAD refund applicatation in the year 2011 and 2011 and Refund order has been passed by Customs on 3rd July 2013 and Consolidated certificate( Credit note) for re-credit of 4% SAD amount is still awaited.

Since there is no  delay at our part , now what are remadies are available to us for availment of re-credit of Rs. 8 L in future import.

Regards

Pradeep Jain

SAD re-credit pending due to delayed consolidated certificate; delays may affect ability to utilise DEPB scrips for future imports. Applicant sought re-credit of SAD into DEPB scrips after receiving a Customs refund order, but the consolidated certificate (credit note) required for re-credit was not issued despite refund applications filed in 2011; applicant requests remedies to obtain re-credit for future import utilisation. The only reply asks whether the issue has been clarified, providing no substantive guidance. (AI Summary)
