Rebate Reversal and Interest Payment for Export Reversal

Asked by
Rebate reversal obligations when exported goods are rejected - whether rebate must be repaid or adjusted and interest payable.
Export rebate claimed was reversed due to customer rejection, posing whether the exporter must repay the rebate to the government or may reverse it against CENVAT and whether interest is payable; the recorded reply only requests the current factual position and offers no substantive guidance. (AI Summary)

We have made Export and taken the rebate for the same. but now it got rejected by the customer.

my question is do we have to pay the rebate back to government or can we reverse it from CENVAT

do we need to pay the interest on the rabate amount

Thanks and Best Regards
