Change of registered address requires amendment of registration certificate online and local jurisdiction acknowledgement to preserve CENVAT eligibility.
Where the jurisdiction of a registered service-tax premises changes, the assessee must amend the registration certificate via the ACES online portal, print the amended certificate and obtain acknowledgement from the jurisdictional superintendent; premises must also be registered to avail CENVAT credit. (AI Summary)

What is the procedure to be followed for the change in the address of the Registered premises of an assessee under Service Tax?

If the jurisdiction changes, then, you would have to get the registration certificate amended through www.aces.gov.in otherwise not.

Agreed.  The Assessee after amending the RC (aces, amend RC), take a print out and get it acknowledged by the Jurisdictional Superintendent of Service tax.
