Step.1 You may like to enter your product HS Code and click on the find tab.
Step.2 You may click on the import tab.
Step.3 Check the product description and select a product similar and click on the next tab.
Step.4 Select a country for your imports and click on the next tab.
Export
Step.1 You may like to enter your product HS Code and click on the find tab.
Step.2 You may click on the Export tab.
Step.3 Check the product description and select a product similar and click on the next tab.
Step.4 Select a country for your Export and click on the next tab.
If you follow above steps you will find product policy.
If you find the products are mentioned as 'Free' then only IEC code is enough for exports.
If you find the products are mentioned as 'Restricted' then another licence like RCMC, Drug Licence, Pollution Control board, BIS Certification would be required, it would be mentioned.

If you find that your products are marked as 'prohibited' in policy then you could not trade such items.
But most products are termed as FREE for exports, so No Worries in it!!!
