Registration as an Authorised Courier requires proof of financial viability, supported by a scheduled bank certificate or other acceptable evidence of assets of at least the prescribed value. Electronic declarations for imported or export goods must be made by persons who have passed the prescribed Customs Brokers Licensing examination, subject to a transitional allowance for compliance. The applicant must undertake to comply with the Customs Act and all rules, regulations, notifications and orders issued under it.
