Suspension of standard input-output norms for making 100 kg lead-free CuSn8Ni1 powder; ensure input proportions per 06/12/2012
Standard input-output norms specify that manufacture of 100 kg of lead-free powder CuSn8Ni1 requires approximately: copper (ingot or scrap) 92.82-94.64 kg, tin (ingot or scrap) 8.13-8.29 kg, and nickel (ingot or scrap) 1.05-1.07 kg. These norms, listed under engineering products, have been suspended by a public notice dated 03-05-2024. A linked public notice (06/12/2012) clarifies that proportions of inputs are determinative and importers must ensure imported inputs are the ones actually used or required in the exported product.
