of <h1>Updated SION: 500 ML Aluminum Beverage Cans Production Requires 14.553 kg Aluminum Coil Per 1,000 Cans</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the production of 500 ML aluminium beverage cans with an easy open end, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For every 1,000 cans, 14.553 kg of aluminum coil with a thickness of 0.22 mm to 0.28 mm is required. Additionally, the import value of items such as inside spray lacquer, over varnish lacquer, UV lacquer, and printing inks is permitted up to 4.50% of the FOB export value for 1,000 cans. The schedule was updated via Public Notice No: 26 (RE: 2012)/2009-2014 on October 19, 2012.
